The Board consists of:
Nina Ross – Founder and Chief Executive
Nina Ross founded The Young Parents Project in 2007. She is a qualified Nutritional Therapist and a fellow of the School for Social Entrepreneurs. She has over 12 years experience in the statutory and voluntary sectors.
Trustees/Non-executive Directors:
Anne Burniston – Anne is a business consultant. Formerly she was Business Development Director of an international communications company worth over £150M.
Ian McIlrath – Ian is a Price Waterhouse Coopers trained financial executive. Positions he has held include Head of Finance, Operations and Managing Director, all for multi-million international travel companies.
Emma Wallace - Emma is a former corporate communications consultant now specialising in supporting organisational growth.
Antonio Garrido – Antonio has many years experience working for multi-million pound turnover organisations in UK sales, manufacturing, and distribution. His areas of expertise include sales development, human resources and motivational skills across multi-site businesses.
Lucy Ackred – Lucy has been working with young parents and those considered to be a risk of social exclusion for many years. She is currently a member of the Hove and West Brighton Early Years Team.
David Downing - David has held CEO, Managing Director and Vice President positions with multi-million pound companies in the UK and USA. He has been involved in a number of non-profit organisations and holds a Diploma in Company Direction from the Institute of Directors in the UK.
